Programs

Programs and services are designed to deal creatively, critically, and supportively with individuals and entities in order to foster consciousness about the significance of Black experiences. Our programs and services are clustered. Annually a theme is selected to frame a portion of the programming representing one cluster. We are always focused on jazz, which captures the second cluster. Student support services and advocacy rounds out what we do as the third cluster. Recent past programs have included scholarly, activist, and artistic presentations on topics ranging from the Biological Concepts… for Defining Race, Black Male Feminism, Hip Hop Culture & Political Voice, Domestic Violence, and Instrumental Voices.
