Jamie Fleece is a native of Richmond, Va and came to Duke University in January 2008. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from James Madison University and her master's degree in Mass Communication from Middle Tennessee State University. Her professional background is in higher education public relations and marketing. She is committed to diversity in higher education and believes that students should be encouraged to freely express their ideas, opinions and beliefs. She enjoys cooking, watching movies and spending time with her family and friends.
